Quick...is Epiphyllum toxic. Juniper ate some. I got a call in to the vet but he's at lunch. Anyone know?

are they a type of cactus? (they are from what I am finding)
cactus is safe, all though it may cause some dermatitis

It is a type of cactus. I did some rooting around and found the piece she bit off so I don't think she ate it per se. Still waiting to hear. That's encouraging though.
I think you will be ok then, let us know what the vet tells you

She's gonna live! My vet felt that b/c she didn't ingest any spikes that she'd be fine. I've looked at countless lists and couldn't find it on any. We won't be sitting too close to plants anytime soon. I have no toxic plants in the house but outside is another story. It just takes a second!
