Is Cuisinart GreenGourmet safe?

My friend gave me a pan he was gonna throw out, he said it’s cast iron. I read up on it and it says it’s PTFE and PFOA free. Here’s some other things it lists:

Just wanna know if it’s safe or if
I should throw it out.

It sounds safe since it has no PTFE or PFOA.
