Hi! I just brought home a 12 week old male and I am about to adopt a 16 week old male to join him. I will quarantine, separate cages etc to start. My concern is their interactions when I let them out together. My 12 week old is fully flighted but the 16 week old that arrives tomorrow comes with clipped wings. What do I need to watch for or consider with one flighted and one clipped? Any other intro tips and tricks appreciated as well

One possible concern is that if the clipped bird doesn't like the flighted one it might feel trapped/have a hard time getting away. I would watch them carefully when they are introduced - is there plenty of space in the common area? Are they getting along well? Does the clipped bird seem nervous/uncomfortable? If one bird is uncomfortable/scared of the other bird you can try to give it a break (take it out of the room/give it special attention).
