Hi! My name is tenleigh and I have a baby cockatiel which is 4 months! I loved birds through my whole live and new to this Community! I have a question if anyone can answer. My bird (kevin) keeps flying to window and watching the birds outside. I don’t know if it’s good for him or should I leave it be.

Yes he is watching them calming. But every time he sees a window he try’s to sit on the edge.

Welcome! I don't see the harm in letting your birdie sit by the window :)

Watching the birds outside isn't an issue unless it's getting him overly excited.

Do you have an issue with him sitting on the window sill? Or does he ever crash into the window?

sure it's fine! If you are worried about him chewing window sills or blinds you might want to check out these

Yes he does crash into the window but not as hard. He recovers quickly. He just sits in the window sill and watches the bird, he doesn’t get too excited as it seems.

It’s fine for your bird to watch the outside world if that’s what he wants to do.
I have one bird who’s cage is now in front of the window as he loves watching outside and my macaw regularly sits at the window when he’s roaming free to watch outside.

I'm so sorry that the site was down for awhile. I've been a 24/7 caregiver for the past 6 months because my husband was being treated for stage 4 colon cancer. The doctors put him in hospice in late May, and he passed away on May 27th. I took the site down for a few weeks while the family and I dealt with his time in hospice and our loss. The site is back up now---and we are open for business. Thank you for spreading the word about Wingdow. It's a wonderful product---and it's my husband's legacy.
