Introducing Kona, the toeless CAG!

Kona came to live with me in July of 2006. Kind of crazy that time has flown by, but it sure has!

I was frequenting a bird store just about every week. A good friend of mine that worked there at the time had let me know that a CAG with no toes had come in that she was hand feeding. I went in to meet her and the rest was history! I put the deposit down and waited for her to wean and then she came home.

Her cage has not one thing special in it. I just always treated her as a regular bird. She climbs up and down the bar like any regular crazy grey.

I am glad she waddled her way into my life.

The assumption is that the parents got them off in the nest. Just a little to rough cleaning before the babies were pulled.

Oh she is a talker Kristy! I cant even keep up with her words these days.

She already knows Pica's name and pica has only been home a month. She says goodnight to her as they are all getting covered every night!

Yeah and when the dog walks in my room she says "Feebee GO!"

She is a special birdie and her little nubbies are precious! saves alot of time when it comes to nail trimming day too! lol..

she is beautiful The Green Cheek I had Named Annie was missing all the toes on one foot and a few on the other and it didn't stop her either, You wouldn't even know she was missing toes if you didn't look at her feet

Even caught her hanging upside down from the top of the cage a couple times
