introducing birds

my new cockatiel will be home next month. i have a green cheek conure and 6 budgies, i know my budgies will do fine but i have never introduced my green cheek to a new addition before. shes very friendly towards other birds, and she is very gentle with the budgies, but i want to make sure the cockatiel doesnt feel overwhelmed with her, or has a bad first impression. any advice on introducing them?

Quarantine first to ensure no spread of diseases, put them in different rooms but close so they can hear each other, after they are introduced to the sounds of each other introduce them slowly with supervision (this is just how i would do it).
