My sister let my dad's guide dog Maddie out into the backyard, and she is telling me that she thinks Maddie might have hurt one of them cuz it was being slow.

It was hiding behind the little storage shed thing, and she squirt some water to get it out, but now it is hiding behind some tires with tons of spider webs and she says she can't see it anymore.

Do you think the bird was sick to begin with or hurt by the dog, what should I tell her to do? I don't think she has the guts to move the tires and look for it with all those webs around though :(

I don't think it was a baby bird she didn't say it was, but I don't think she will call if I gave her the number to the local wildlife rehabber cuz she doesn't talk to people especially on the phone.
