Injured foot?

Rain is a 3-4 year old conure.
Today I just realized that he has small reddish dots on the top of his foot as well as the bottom of them.

He is not wanting to put pressure on the foot and looks to be struggling to climb with it as well.

He seems fine when I touch the foot itself, but when I touch up by his feathers, he seems to get angry and tries to bite.

I will be watching him tomorrow, and if it doesn’t get better I will have to find a vet.
I just wanted some second opinions on what it could be, and if there is anyway I can help him? If it’s just an injured foot that will fix itself or if it’s something more serious?

Are those tiny boo boos, or little blood splats from something else? Is it possible that under those feathers, there's a band injury?

Good question although I would seek out a vet first and foremost...

Could he have a blood feather on his leg? Or maybe have taken a fall in his cage and hurt his foot on the grate? I think a vet is the best idea.

petechiae? I'd have a vet check...could he have caught his leg in the bars or gotten squished somehow?

Rain is fine and healthy!
He has a laceration on his leg but she said it should heal within a week or so. Got some pain meds and an antibiotic.
will be moving him to a smaller cage for the next two weeks so he can rest :)

Good to see this and thank you for the follow up post. Sometimes we are left wondering what ever happen.
