Hi my femail cockatiel princess sprained her foot yesterday and I took her the vet yesterday, the vet said she looks OK and it may take 4 days to heel and to leave her in the Avery. It's the first time she has ever injured herself and im a worried mum. But she seems to be her normal self except having her foot up and not moving around exct. I love all our birds.

I would put her in a separate cage from the other birds while she heals, just in case. Hope she heals fast

Is she tame? If it's not too stressful for her I think I would put her in a smaller cage for a few days and let her rest. Did the vet give pain meds or anything like that?
