Good morning everyone Tyrion is doing well he is done with his meds and is eating well ...his weight is holding steady at 471 grms ...he is getting lonely in my bedroom he is calling and talking to us from the bed room ..I was going to keep him in the cage in my bed room for another couple weeks but I am worried about him getting bored and lonely so I was wondering if next week I could move him back to his normal cage out in the living room ...vet says yes anytime I could move him but I am worried about doing it to early.. he has been in my room for 17 days now and seems like he would like to move back in the living room ...what do you guys think is it to soon or can I do it this weekend ?:):):):):):)

I think it would be good to move him back, he wants his flock. Since the vet says yes and you're monitoring his weight, he should be safe

Hey everyone a lil update on Tyrion he is back in his cage in the living room ..he seems very happy and got a calling fest with my Amazon's when he was getting settled Lagertha was very happy to see him it was very cute...he is eating well I'm still soaking his seed and nut mixture ...the indent in his beak is looking good the clot is drying out and he is a lil itchie but not overly so ...I'm so happy he is doing so well the next obstacle is when the clot falls off and leaving the hole in his beak the vet says she wants a pic to see if he needs.to come in for more treatment ...I'm hoping he will be fine not to see her as this lil incident cost my whole bird vet budget for the yr and more but I love him so much I'm just happy he is doing so well it's going to be a long road but well worth it :) :) :) :) :)

Hey all a lil update on my boy ....Its been a month since the injury and Tyrion is doing great ...his clot is still remaining ...his weight is stable and he is eating more hard seed nut diet and bigger whole foods ...he is talking and singing and whistling like normal and seems to be happy ...I have caught him trying to play with his wood toys but i dont think his beak is there yet carboard on the other hand he is freely nibbling on ...I am suppose to take a pic for the vet once the clot has fallen out but it doenst seem to want to come out which I think is good so it gives the indent to the bone a better chance of healing ...here is the lastes pic of his beak :)

Good morning everyone ..Just a lil update on my boy Tyrion...He is still doing well eating , drinking and is happy chatting and whistling ...His clot it seems to want to stay in the indent which is good ... he came out yesterday and flew abit around the living room ...his weight is holding well and poops are normal ...I am so grateful he is holding his own and seems to be doing great .... thanks to all for sending good wished for him ... we wont be out of the woods though until his beak starts growing which could take several months to a year and no pieces are stuck in there that have to be removed ...still praying he stays good and in good spirits :)
