Indian ringneck feather change

Hi all! I just wanted some advice my IRN is a Violet cleartail who just turned 10 months. However, he’s turned green during his molt. Is this normal?

Totally normal. These guys actually can change color drastically. Most often, it’s the work of color mutation genes and it’s a pretty subtle shift. Occasionally, IRNs can turn color from rain water or mineral heavy water they bathe in, but genetics is more common. True rainbow birds they are!
