I have noticed Tiki not pooping on me or the back of the couch unless I have him out from his cage or playstand for too long.

Today we took him to petsmart and he wasn't pooping, so I got a perch off the shelf and set him on it and told him "go poop" and he did. We did this 3 times, although he did poop on a towel in the car but I think this was pretty impressive! It's not something I have even worked on with him.

I was hoping he would become potty trained but didn't know where to start so I guess he started it himself!:omg:

Bokka, for the most part, is potty trained as well. And I never worked with him on it. He holds it for as long as he can, while on me, but when on a cage or playstrand or edge of a table or chair, he will go, just never on me.

Opa on the other hand is a pooper machine, doesnt care when or how he does it.

Just be careful. With a potty trained bird, they can actually hold it too long and cause intestinal damage. I never recommend teaching abird to be potty trained. To NOT poop on you, ofcourse, but to only be potty trained to a specific area/located, no.

Well I'd rather him not go on the couch but I usually put towels down anyways, I'm not specifically teaching him though.
