There has recently been a number of threads posted in the 911 Emergency Forum that are not appropriate for that section. This section should be reserved for owners whose birds are in dire need of immediate help during a health/injury crisis. Whenever someone posts in 911 an alert is sent out to certain members who are on 'stand-by' so to speak so they can quickly check the section and see if they can be of help until the member can get access to an Avian Vet. It can result in the life or death of a beloved bird.
911 is not to be used to ask non-emergency bird related health questions. 'Healthy Highway' is set up for this purpose and has a good response rate so your questions will be answered in a timely manner.

Also, the 911 forum is not the place to post social issues even if bird related. The forums, 'Around the Neighborhood' and 'Bird Boulevard', are set up for those kinds of topics.
Please respect the 911 Emergency forum and it's alert notification set up system by using it only for true emergencies. Thank you.
