Hi guys.
I'm a little stressed right now.
As some of you may know, Ebenhard had trouble swallowing her pellet last week.
Well now I think something is going on.
She has a small skin tag thing by her vent area. It has been examined and ultrasounded and cleared by the vet.
She is eating well, preening, playing, singing normally.
Last night, she wheezed for 3 seconds, then stopped.

Just right now, I walked over, and she did a very weird wing movement, and was shuffling and such. I wasn't sure what was happening. Then she pooped, and it stopped.
Would you be concerned?

What do you mean "skin tag thing" by her vent area? Can you describe her wheezing in more detail? How long did the weird wing movement/shuffling last?

I'm not sure, but go with your gut. It's usually right.

Could it be hormonal? I only had males so I'm not sure.

If she is acting normal otherwise I would say just keep your eye on her. Or call your vet and ask.

The shuffling lasted about 10 seconds.
The skin tag is basically a wart on the skin, not internally.
The wheezing was just for 3 breaths or so. Then it stopped out of the blue.

Oh goodness Pigster! I would call the vet and/or take her back if she isn't acting normal--maybe you could video her when she is having these "episodes" to show the vet and see what they think. Better safe than sorry (well you know that)!

The weird thing about Cornell is that they never call back.
I have no idea what it is because she's very healthy otherwise.

Did a quick exam:
Great weight, no funny lumps, feathers everywhere there should be, tummy isn't distended.
All looks good, but I think I'll call the vet tomorrow. :)

Sometimes we worry too much and that distorts our perception. If you twitched, shuffled, pooped, and stopped, would your mother call the doctor? :) It is probably not anything, but I would contact my vet tomorrow.

Lol, good point. Better to worry too much than too little though!!
Thank you all so much. Hugs. :)
