If my baby bird weighed 100 grams, and someone says feed 10% of their weight.

Does that mean I weigh the powder in grams and measure 10% of its weight?

Or is it measure the amount of formula in grams 10% of their weight (prior to using the syringe)

or is it use 10% of their weight in mL of formula: if the bird weighed 100g = 10mL?

If you are using 10% as the guideline then 100 grams would mean 10 ml of prepared formula per feeding.
Number of feedings depends on the age of the bird and crop emptying.
