I want to thank everyone for the expression of sympathy for the loss of Miss Riti. She will be very much missed by myself and I think not a few of you. Even though she hated hands she left me with many fond memories and a few not so fond ones as well, she was a chewer and hider nothing was safe from her. But the way she let me know it was “Treat Time” by just standing there a looking at me then the drawer and back to me I’ll never forget. Oh and the way she’d grab her prize and hold it in her foot like a kid with a candy bar and gnaw on the end tickled me no end.

Cheddar seems to be OK for the most part but he is wanting to be close to me. He is riding on my shoulder anywhere I go, something he didn’t get to do as he was in the birdroom full time with Riti. But he’s not a hider and chewer and only wants to be with be so stays where ever I am at.

Of course I made a big mistake today and sat his fresh food bowl down on my desk to go grab my coffee and when I got back he’d found it and was happily munching away...and of course making a huge mess...I’ll clean it up without a problem.
