You would only need the branches. And of course they would need to be smaller around for little budgie feet. @JLcribber

I have a concern about the wire spacing. Dont want a little budgie head to get caught and is it stainless steel wire?

It's .5in by .5in spacing. I'm 95% sure it is, I'll double-check real quick though. If not, I should be able to replace it myself luckily.
Edit: (Had to ask customer support since I don't see any clear information on it, it just says metal, but it does look like stainless steel. I won't know for a couple days though)

So Phoenix was still mostly eating seeds and would refuse most of his pellets. I decided to take drastic measures. I laid some out on the table, and ate some in front of him. Now he eats them :roflmao: It's how I got him to eat veggies, I just hope this will be the last time I have to eat his pellets :shifty::roflmao:

they tasted awful, reminds me of how dog food smells
:( What pellets do you use?
Mine smell like bubblegum and taste ok. I just don´t care for the powdery texture.

I love that he'll eat food he sees you eating! That's so funny. Whenever I stand in front of my budgies, eating something, I always get the feeling that they think I'm disgusting. :roflmao: I guess that's the difference between budgies that are human-bonded and my flock of reprobates. ;)

Harrison's superfine high potency (Recommended by my vet for him). The flavor wasn't super strong, but everything I did taste was real bad.

What kind of pellets do you use?
Hagen Tropican.

I have also used Psittacus at times in the past too. They don´t really taste of much.

So Phoenix drops some of what I believe are his down feathers sometimes (it’s pretty rare, I’ve only seen the little white fluffy feathers like 5 times tops) but I just watched him eat one?? What was that :roflmao:

He might just be playing with it, not eating it. My Cheeku will also do that..... :cautious:
