I NEED HELP PLEASE

So for the past 5 months my cockatiel has been scratching around his head and sneezing uncontrollably...I’ve taken him to the vet 3 times which has been very expensive. currently he’s on medication but it doesn’t seem to work. does anyone know what I can do

Do you have another vet who your can get a second opinion from? What tests have been done? What remedies have been prescribed?

Yes the veterinarian did a test to see if he had mites and it came out negative. Currently he’s taking medication for pain/ inflammatory AND medication for bacterial infection.

There’s no not many avian vets were I live. He’s had a test to see if he had mites and it came back negative. He’s been taking Meloxicam for pain/ inflammatory and another medication called enrofloxacin for infection

How long has he been on those medications and have you faithfully given them to him? It does take medications time to work.

That's good.
The medications the vet gave you were very appropriate for an infection. If the vet did not run any tests then he doesn't know what is wrong with your guy. Try to find a vet who will run some tests, to find out what your bird's problem is. A swab of his throat and anus would be the first step.

Keep him warm, quiet and make sure he is eating and drinking.
