I had sky since he was around three weeks old , I would die for him any day .
When I brought him home I knew he was sick took him to every pet available for around 5 months straight appointments upon appointment it doesn’t matter I’ll do it everyday forever .
He seems to get well and healthier was such a mamas boy wouldn’t leave me alone .
Sadly I took him to the vet to give his beak a trim he passed away while the doctor was cleaning him off , she said he was dying and died with him . He died in my hands … I never cried so much .
I miss you sky I wish you were here with this I still didn’t get the chance to play or see you grow up .
Here is picture of him when he was a tiny baby.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Sky was so handsome  my 3 year old Green Cheek died in my hands at the vet about a month ago after her blood draw and I miss her so much. We love these little feathered babies so much and they leave such a large hole in our hearts when we lose them.

I, too, am so sorry for your loss. I am also still grieving...I can't get another baby until I have healed.

He sounded like a very sweet, affectionate bird.

Im so sorry for your loss.

Im really dont mean for this next question to sound insensitive in anyway whatsoever...but have you considered an autopsy to rule out the cause?

If your baby was sick, its possible it could transfer to any other birds or even to yourself.

Do you have other birds in the house?

Yeah, not to be insensitive but a few bird diseases can be passed to humans.
An only bird would not present a problem but could be if/ when you got another bird & reused the cage etc.
Put all this aside my advice would be if/when you decide to take another bird into your life that you make sure they are weaned age as a 3 week old bird is so fragile & so many things can go wrong with feeding etc.

I'm sure you want to avoid this heart ache again so adopt a weaned bird or even an adult who is in the need of a good home. There are so many out there who would love to be loved waiting in tiny dirty cages to find an oasis in the care of someone like you when you're heart has healed.

:hug8:
