Somehow I managed yesterday, whenever I wasn't distracted I was crying every 10 mins or so. Normally when I am sad or upset I spend time with my budgies, but being with them a lot yesterday was just too much for me. I am doing better today and they are starting to cheer me up a bit again.
Sunbeam put herself into the flight cage with the others yesterday, I wasn't going to argue with her so she's still with them, I'll keep a eye on things.

I’m very sorry you’ve lost your buddy LJ.
They are an absolutely stunning bird and the photos alone show how much you loved and cared for them.
I think one thing we probably all want from our lives is for people to think of and miss us when we are gone- to know we meant something to someone and improved our own little corner of the world. LJ meant a lot to you and I am sure you meant a lot to him, too.
