I just bought home two little mouths to feed!

I went out to see a pair of princess parrots this arvo, who have two little chicks. The ad stated that the pair couldn't go until the chicks were weaned, but once i was there and chatting away to the guy he decided he'd be happy for me to take them and hand rear the bubs if that's what i wanted. :D So i've got two green split to lime princess parrots, and two green bubs about 2 weeks old. They are CUTE! I've just settled them into my little brooder and they're trying to tell me they're hungry (which they are NOT, greedy pigs). I'll snap some photos later to share, and of course photos as they grow too! :heart:

Lucky!! That is one of my favorite species. How exciting for you! Can't wait for pics!

They're bigger than tiels, but i'm not sure how much the adult birds weigh. Most websites i've seen say 90-120g which is the same sort of range as tiels, but the eldest bub is already 99g at just 3 weeks old, so i'd expect him to get a fair bit heavier yet!
