We've ended up swapping the boys' sides. When Leon gets spooked and flies back to their cage he lands on the right hand door. And when he's out, he mostly sits on the top of the right side, so this way makes more sense. So far so good, but like the goffins girls, sometimes it's a matter of who gets there first! We have both sides set up the same but reversed except for the snuggle ring; we may need to get another of those.

This probably won't make sense unless you've seen Farscape, but...

Yeah. They each have loud outbursts every now and then, but they're fairly short and they'll do 4 or 5 and then stop. This morning they had to have been coordinating or playing off of one another; it was too perfect otherwise. I hope that means they're getting along better?

I originally bought the ear protection because of our dear little 'Fina (Puffina). Her calls stress me out when I'm doing something where I can't have her on me. Looks like it'll be handy to have around now!

Tonight! Buzz was on my shoulder, yes shoulder, which he knows we don't do. I think he sees Leon make a beeline for shoulders when he steps up & thinks that's what we're all doing now?

Well, of course that's when Leon decided to call & I'm pretty sure Buzzy answered with one of his own. That's the last thing I remember. j/k

The past few days Leon has been sitting like this with hubby while he watches tv. They sit like this for about an hour at a time! Today he said Leon preened his beard then laid his head on his shoulder against his neck for about 2 minutes while hubby rubbed his head.

I love watching these two buddies hang out!

There are two small windows in the wall between the living room and the goffins girls' room (supposed to be dining room, I think?) that have that humming bird pattern on them. I think it's like that stick on stained glass but they seem designed to fit each window perfectly, despite odd sizes. Those and the bay windows over the garden tub were like that when we first saw the house. Perfect for bird people, right?
