I mean, if you have heat resistant gloves, I'd use that, but oven mitts would work in a pinch, just with less dexterity.

Got any neighborhood kids who want to make $20?? :p
Unfortunately if they were injured, their families could sue. Lots teens lose out on making money nowadays, because we've become way too litigious. :( Doubt faislaq has insurance for the kids.

Anyhow, those boxes look huge. Looks like it'll be quite the set up!

I have no idea. I'm just cutting them open & carrying each piece in separately & leaning them against a wall. :shrug3:

I think hubby will want to install the new light before we put the cage together. And I've ordered a light switch with a programmable timer that works with LED lights so the boys won't ever be in the dark when I get home. :)

Geez, the price has jumped more than $50 since I ordered!

I can’t believe you didn’t do the short-shorts trick!

I just drove home with a vase I bought off FB marketplace. It’s so big I had to lower the convertible top to get it in. Now waiting on hubby to get a neighbor to help with it. That thing was HEAVY. It kept rolling forward coming home - I had to stop and secure it, my arm wouldn’t hold back that much weight. Lol

I think that would fall under home/renter's insurance?

Might be the area but lots of kids get hired for odd jobs around me!

I got back from Home Depot & Hubby had the 2 big boxes inside! :scared3: He didn't even unpack them. :faint:

One is 49.5kg and the other is 57.9kg. They're flat and akward on top of that, no good place to grip. And up our steps, too? I wish he'd've waited for me, but he acts like it's no big deal.

He’s awesome
They’re inside now so no use stressing about him not waiting for you lol
I’m so excited for you and Buzzy.

Oh that cage. I recall feeling overwhelmed when ours arrived at our place. Luckily I had my sons here who were ready and willing to assemble 'the beast'.
