I have stopped buying any toys for Team Green. Why waste my money buying or time making toys when these two Knotheads think the greatest toy ever is a bottle cap? B.B. will carry one around for hours chewing, throwing dropping and chasing it. Cheddar gets involved when he see B.B. having fun. Well give them what they want I guess? right?

I know the feeling. Nelson the CGCC is the first of my parrots who likes to play with actual parrot toys. QP Ralph preferred stainless steel spoons, empty yogurt containers and a wooden honey dipper. Scooter the CAG mostly liked to tie knots in cotton clothesline rope. George the YCA would have been a good companion for her since he liked untying knots. He also had a nylon dog bone he liked to toss around. Whatever they want they get.:D

My son (now adult) had a similar reaction with the boxes his Christmas gifts came in -- toy abandoned but he's inside the box making a fort -- so it's not just a bird thing to frustrate the toy-giver.

With my amazon I get a lot of mileage out of the cardboard spool inside toilet paper rolls. Slide it over a perch, especially if I can arrange it so it won't slide off easily, and an hour or so worth of bird entertainment (or fury at covering the perch, who knows why).

And yes, I am sure a full toilet paper roll would also work, but the cleanup....
