I had noticed that early in this thread you mentioned that they were open mouth breathing. That many times indicates an upper respiratory infection. Sorry I didn't read this sooner and give you a warning, but they were both gone by the time I read it.
Everyone - do not discount an upper respiratory infection if you bird is breathing through his mouth and get him to the vet immediately if there is any breathing sound.
