I wish I had inanimate MBS and not normal MBS! Inanimate objects are quiet and aren't nippy!

I love the crystal too, and all Gayla's beautiful things! I especially like the painted eggs, and the cool one that hangs by the tip of his beak.:)

I fell in love with that the moment I saw it... :) It was my 1st wedding anniversary gift in place of a REAL bird. LOL

Now I have a pair of budgie crystals on the way! :D

You all have such lovely collections and as you say they do not bite, only have to be dusted from time to time, no feeding or cleaning out either! but you don't have the same kind of fun from them do you?

When I went looking for how many books I had (only 4) I ended up looking around and counting bird collectibles ~ including bird lamps, finials, pictures etc. I stopped counting at 100...... Here's the majority though. I hoping that someone can top that, I'd love to know I'm not the only one :)
I have the Macaw one thats on your bottom shelf, and I have maybe a few others, but I wont get pics because they are all packed.

I don't have much for collectibles, but I do have the robin, pink cockatoo (Pinkberry), and turkey Webkinz...lol

I used to have many collectibles - mostly Disney, until my cat (not Oliver, one I had years ago) decided to jump up onto that shelf at 3am and brought the entire shelf DOWN! I lost everything. The only true collectible I have is a Goebel Hummel I inherited from my Grandmother's extensive collection. It is currently at my parent's place for safe keeping...lol

I actually only have one bird collectible that is a Scarlet Macaw. BUT you should see how many books I have lol. I kind of collect them so I think that could make them a collectable hahahaha. Plus my rediculous amount of bird talk magazines

I noticed that you have "Breaking Bad Habits in Parrots" which is on my book list. Is it worth reading? There have been some recently that just did not float my boat that I have read. :(

That book is a good one, however my favorite one for behavioral issues is: BARRON'S Guide to a Well-Behaved Parrot (Third Edition)
also: The complete guide to a second hand parrrot
