Wow chaz really looks like a patagonian and blue and gold hybrid..there might be something to the idea that researchers are trying to reclassify patagonian's as mini macaws....where did you get chaz from welshanne.

Chaz was a rescue bird. He had paired up with our Jay the blue fronted Amazon from young and they had been together for the past eight yrs or so. They did everything together, down to sharing a cage.
Now they have their own cages but are always close together. Have some time out together but mainly separate. Reasons being many.
chaz bullied Jay in lots of ways!
They are now both happy and able to lead their own lives without being bullied.
chaz is evolving slowly and is more approachable now. He will come onto my fingers and loves to be kissed. Nobody else can get near him. :D
He was a hatching that had gone wrong with a breeder. He was passed on to his first owner as a chick rather than not live! Am I glad.

I've seen a Hahns/Sun Conure Hybrid and there are many Hahns/Noble hybrids.

Yes, like Allison said, you can see hybrid Hahn's/Nobles and hybrid Hahn's/conures from time to time. Hahn's can apparently hybridize with BCCs and Suns. I don't know about any others for sure, but there's someone on this board who says she saw a mini/Patty hybrid once. That would be interesting.

Here is a picture of my big boy, This is Diego. We bought him from a home where they didn't have time for him and neglected him and his brother. We couldn't afford both so we got just Diego. Luckily a couple from our area heard the brother was still there and went down and bought him. so both birds went to a good home. Diego is a Harlequin Macaw. He is a big boy at almost 3 lbs.

In my honest opinion, I don't find these hybrids all that appealing. Ive only seen a few that I would say are pretty. The rest just look like funny paint jobs.... I think the purebreds are the most beautiful.

Here is my baby Lexi, she is a Catalina macaw. She has the sweetest, funniest personality, and gets along with all flocks members and loves people.
