On the way to Howard's checkup. The last couple of days he's seemed very tired with some diarrhea. Fingers crossed

Howard's blood sugar is well over 700 and his weight is dropping, hard for him to stay awake. We are going to change his glipizide from 0.09 ml to 0.15 twice daily.

I thought he was doing so much better with the glipizide for his diabetes.

I hope so too. His avian vet that's treating his diabetes is 3 hours away so we take a lot of breaks to let him get out of his carrier and hang out awhile.

MC had to endure those long rides. We didn't let him out of his carrier but he got breaks from the drive.

@Clueless yes I think I remember you said that. We stop a couple times at rest stops and let him out to stretch a little. I can tell in this picture he doesn't feel well. It's like his health changed overnight.

It's hard, but you love him and he has a chance if you can just figure out the meds.
