He made it 7 feet. Yes I measured it! He had a pretty good landing kind of just pulled his feet up and slid.

Lurches wings were clipped when we got him...lucky for us... It took him 6 months to molt out and get new ones and the first time he took off he jumped straight up and back down with a shocked look on his face, then he had to nap for a hour. It took him a while but he got his stamina back and was zipping all over the place at the end of his time with me.
Good on Howard, now he'll start to branch out as he gets stronger and more confident in his abilities.
