Hi everyone!
I'm definitely a little odd when it comes to feathers, I keep any and all that I find from Patches (minus his down feathers). But I'm hoping someone else has run into this problem and could help me.
I've been storing them in a jar up until now, and now that jar has gotten full. I'm going to switch it to an airtight mason jar, but before I do that, I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to preserve them? I read that putting them in the freezer for 2 weeks and then sealing them in an airtight container is my best bet. Just want to confirm that this is how I can keep his beautiful feathers... I love to do art and will definitely find a use for them in the future... it would break my heart if I opened up the jars later and his beautiful feathers were all gone
