How to introduce a bird to a new pellet? Two ways.

1. Offer new pellet by hand. Doesn't work.
2. Put mix of old pellet and new pellet in the bowl. Doesn't work
3. Pretend you eat new pellet and it tastes heavenly. Doesn't work
4. Eat new pellet and pretend even more that it tastes heavenly. Didn't try this one but I'm determined to if necessary.
4. Threten you will eat the whole pellet if Edgar will not. Doesn't work
5. Threten Akira will eat the whole pellet. Doesn't work
6. Put old pellet in the other bowl. Works
7. Don't give up. Put mix of new pellet and old pellet in the bowl. Wait who knows how long. Maybe it will work. Don't forget to keep old pellet in another bowl so Edgar will not starve himself.

Akira is very unladylike. She eats everything in quantities which are really amazing. I mean, where she puts all of this? I mean, really, all of this? This much food for not so very big bird? Where? How?
