my bird is a very messy eater and his formula gets everywhere especially under his beak and somehow on his crest, and ideas of how to get it out? I don’t want this to irritate my baby, he likes to pick it out himself like he’s doing in the photo but I’m worried if he’s plucking his feathers, any ideas how to get it off image.jpg

You can soften it up with some warm water on a kitchen tissue or cotton ball and wipe it off.

Can you clean immediately after eating? While the formula is still wet,? If not. Then warm water and cotton balls or Q tips, but be very gentle.

Best tip is to remove as soon as they finish eating before it sets.

For now, get a cotton ball or cloth and soak it in warm water then press it against the formula that is dry for 5-10 seconds , then gently wipe it away. Soak and repeat.

Don't pick it, it will pull feathers and it will hurt.

Be patient, go slow and gentle.

Good luck.

We are gonna be doing that repeatedly
Yes, it can really take a long time to get it off. But it is impostant to get it all off because it can harbour bacteria.
