How do I mount a nesting box inside the bird cage

Yeah, plus in the us keeping wild bird eggs and trying to hatch them is a serious offense with large fines and potential jail implications, the best thing to do would be to contact a wildlife rehabilitator and get rid of the best box, it’s never legal or smart to just bring in eggs and try to hatch them or keep them, not too mention the strain it would put on your budgie

It almost seems like weaning with the nest box now, is it normal that she is screetiching when i pick up the nest box? It seriously sounds like shes being beaten alive :(

Rip the band aid off.
You say she screeches when you pick up the box? Well, you only have to pick it up once. Get rid of it, and then offer her something new to play with. Whip up a diy toy if you don´t have any new toys on hand.

Yes offer millet treats when she is behaving. Birds should not sleep in a nest box or tent anyway. Have comfortable perches or platforms up high in the cage for her to choose a place to sleep. She will be OK.
