Hello!
About a year ago I received a cockatiel from a person who got one as a gift and wasn't ready to take care of her, and I am worried that I am not enriching her enough
She is a very lovely and chatty bird and absolutely loves getting pet. I am worried that she feels lonely or bored as I do not have any other birds to keep her company, and I do not have space to build her a big bird playground like the ones I see online.
I have cleaned out a corner of my room and installed one of those long perches that you can shape however you like and I made her a platform below it where I put a foraging box and I constantly create her some new toys to destroy. I don't keep her in her cage a lot and most of the time she free roams the house under supervision. She flies around the house daily and we try to spend as much time with her as possible
I tried to get her a harness so she could fly around in my garden but she despised it, so we just put her cage on the balcony sometimes under supervision when there isn't wind so she can get sunlight.
I am doing my best to save up for a flight cage and another bird to keep her company, but meanwhile what else can I do to keep her enriched? I feel like this is isn't enough
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
