I have had singletons before but I’m in the process of adapting from parrots to canaries. I ordered a nice flight cage and found a pet shop that has two canaries in separate cages, gender unknown. Can I risk getting them both and putting them in the same cage?

You can always try . If it’s two males that won’t work . I had a make and female that lived together peacefully and I heard more than one hen is ok too together .
