I should have typed a longer answer but was rushed as i was dealing with a naughty bird yes unpasturised honey does contain botulism spores and can be fatal to human infants under the age of 12 months however it doesnt have a effect on people who are older.Botulism kills people. Will have a read of that laterDoing more research, Avian Botulism is definitely a thing. While it affects waterfowl the worst (likely just due to the fact that they live in areas where spores flourish), it can affect all bird species.
