I am doing the orange peel/ cinnamon/ ginger/ nutmeg in my dutch oven with about 3/4 gallon of water on the back burner. the house smells wonderful.

it's pretty delish, the water in the pan is funky brown from the cinnamon. I am doing also for the humidity in the front room. I was getting static shocks from touching the cages.

This is an interesting article, air quality is so crucial for birds. I discovered one of the best nontoxic air purifiers and fresheners are lots of green plants near the cage and in the home, as it replicates their natural environment.

I don't use essential oils. I would rather use the natural things.
