My aviary had to be moved from the backyard (aviary was on dirt), onto the backyard patio, which is tiled. My two Quails loved being on the dirt, but really, for all the aviary birds and Quails safety, we had to move it.
I was thinking about getting them a hideout house, something for them to go into at night, or whenever they wanted to.

Also, would hay be okay to put down inside a hideout for them, for warmth? They do cuddle up to each other at night, but I am a worry wart and worry about them getting cold.
