Hi!! I'm so glad a forum like this exists!
My partner and I recently fell into having birds after a friend of ours found two young budgies (the blue ones in the pics) on his roof, a male and female pair. He's more of a dog person, so we took them off his hands. My partner is a long time birder and bird bander and my granny kept lovebirds all her life, so we were both happy for the challenge.
We just got the white and yellow ones in the hopes that they can teach the young blues how to eat veggies and take baths.
We prefer to keep them flighted, but the white one was trimmed by the shop owner the day before we adopted him
For names:
Bright blue is Waffles
Deep blue/grey is Ranni
Yellow (English Budgie) is Omelette
White (half-english) is Boo
I would appreciate any tips or advice! Especially about baths, it is very dry where we live and they HATE being sprayed
