I think you’re reading into things, as I never said a first time bird owner couldn’t be perfectly suited to be a great parront to a parrotlet. I’m sorry if my comment was misread. What I meant to say was “Awesome! You must be a very cool person too! Welcome to the club of very cool people who own parrotlets!”

@Peepsicle Sorry if my post sounded rude, I just meant that if you research and are mature enough, then it is completely possible to have a parrotlet as your first bird :)
I agree. My comment was meant as a form of high fives for being in the “cool club”, not as any kind of gatekeeping.
