Welcome to the avenue! I have a parrotlet, too! They are the sweetest birds once you get to know them and bond with them, but they do have a SERIOUS attitude! What kind of advice are you looking for? (housing, diet, training, etc.) Let us know and we'll try to help you the best we can!

Just because they are advanced doesn't mean that a new bird owner can't take care of them

I would kind of disagree....I got my first parrotlet when I was very young (not even a teenager) but I was mature enough, we had done plenty of research, and that bird wasn't hard to take care of at all! Sure, parrotlets have attitudes, but the actual care (food, water, toys, vet, etc.) doesn't require much more than any other birds.

@Peepsicle Sorry if my post sounded rude, I just meant that if you research and are mature enough, then it is completely possible to have a parrotlet as your first bird
