Hi everyone,
Have a 9 week rainbow lorikeet, she has been hand reared and is soo affectionate. Parents had different birds over the years but first time bird owner myself. I'll likely be asking millions of questions. So scared to get something wrong and with everything u hear different things on the same topics.
I'm excited and scared all at the same time.
I'm interested in knowing what the different noises are and what they mean. Tried to watch videos but nothing really that discussed the meanings.
Is there any really big no no's or any big do's that I need to know. I'm learning as I go and trying to do lots of research. Iv kitchen paper and pigeon loft grit in the bottom of her cage currently as was advised this will kill any bacteria or disease in the poop, tho scared she might try to eat it.
Thanks all
