Hi,
My husband and I own a cute 6 month old male Eclectus parrot named Junior. we love our little flybaby so much. Unfortunately he didn’t have a good start in life. When We got him he had an infection of the respiratory tract and a yeast infection. So we went 15 times in 4 weeks to the vet. Maybe even more often, at some point I stopped counting. Due to the good vet he is healthy now. At least he seems to be healthy, we keep a wary eye on him.
the only problem Junior still has is that his nose is running sometimes, but mostly after he ate some watery, juicy fruits like papaya for example or when it’s dusty somewhere. We told the vet and he meant, that it could be that Junior has allergies and a genetic problem with his respiratory tract. But as long as his nasal discharge is just watery it’s okay. Does anyone has the same problem?
sorry for the long post
I’m really thankful for forums like that
