He was just at the vet and had a beak trim. I would not have a finger left if I tried anything but the slightest touch on the top when he puts his beak between the bars. Did the vet not do an adequate job?

Henry says " WASSUP" Wasabi!!! Let's be pals! Do you have a safety pumice perch for him? Henry rubs his beak on his, doesn't keep his toe nails in check though. I bought the large and maybe the medium would be better. I would love to Dremel Lola's beak for the rough edges but I do like that she loves her nightly head scratches. I have the large safety pumice for her too and she sits on it outside of her cage so I'm thinking she needs a medium inside the cage. The top is smooth and the sides have the pumice. I like them a lot.

Secret has recently tried to touch her tongue against my finger (from between the bars). It amazes me and I just can't understand why she's doing that.

Checking to see if you're sweet or salty before taking a bite. I dunno .. I love their tongues! That and toes. I would love to rub those fat caterpillar toes. Sometimes I do on Henry if he's hanging on the bars ( INSIDe his cage ) and I wonder.. is he going to be pissed off at me later? Usually not if I have treats. I love those toes!

Yep..... been petting those toes for years. I do stop once the bird gives me that look.
