So I've had my IRN for almost a year now, he's a lovely naughty fluffball.
He can now spin, wave, and do nose boops! He waves at me all day long.
He will come sit on my shoulder for a minute if I have a treat, or he will step up when I have a treat. Sometimes he'll recall onto my hand as well.
He has clearly gained a lot of trust in me, however, he will not sit on my hand for more than a few seconds.
He will fly to my hand, grab the treat and fly away. Same with my shoulder.
I've started making him wave etc on my hand to distract him, but he will fly away after a good 5 seconds if he doesn't get the treat.
He's stepped up for about 8 months now and we've made very little progress.
I'd love to get him more comfortable on my hand so I can actually take him out of the room, into the bathroom for example, would make life a lot easier.
When he's on my hand, as soon as I move the tiniest but he'll fly away again.
Does anyone have any tips/exercises for this?
Thank you !
