Wondered what triggered that response? Seems like he's blaming you for something!

I'm sorry... not the right person to help you... :(

All I can say is from my own experience-- when we rescued our Cockatoo I wore contact lenses and when I would switch from glasses back to contacts-- bitten several times... Finally figured out she didn't like me being bare faced! No more contact lenses for me! o_O

Welcome to AA. You are doing well with Ozzy...congrats! He is doing what a lot of birds do with human hands...being cautious (to the point of biting) to them.
You he has no problem with...your hands are a different story. This is a TOTALLY expectable thing to happen.
So,what do you do about it? It's easy...you let Ozzy be Ozzy! You let him interact with you the way he wants to...you don't have to do a thing but enjoy him!
No pressure, no forcing...nothing. Ozzy will guide you with the next steps in your relationship with him.
Tiles are really good in adapting to humans...they are most forgiving of us humans in most ways. We are currently owned by 3 tiles...Igor, Sunshine, and Tweety...and have been owned by many other tiles in the past.
They are the most solid of species...and I love them...
