Urgent Help needed! Budgie refuses to eat (has broken beak)

Hello, this is my first post on here so I apologize if I am in the wrong place to ask, but I desperately need help! One of my budgies got into a fight with my green cheek and I saw my budgies upper beak bitten off. Only the bottom half of the upper beak is off, half of it is still intact but still very much broken. It bled for a bit, not too much from what I can remember but the bleeding did come to a close. I cleaned the blood off and the beak as well with water. It’s been a day since and she hasn’t been eating too much or just at all… I have tried to hand feed her with some bird formula and she refuses to eat it. I even prepared mushy soft food for her and she doesn’t seem to take interest in it. Right now she seems hungry as her crop is pretty much flat, which was usually full before the incident. She’s just fluffed up and sleeping… About the vet, it will be difficult to take her there. The only thing is that they’ll give me medicine to give to her and if she can’t eat, then how will she consume medicine on an empty stomach? I’m just super worried with how I can get her to eat. I don’t want to “give up” and do every last thing I can to make her eat and fulfil her needs with her broken beak. I can also send a picture of how it looks if asked. Any tips or advice is very helpful and appreciated. I just feel very awful with how she is, all hungry and sleepy.

There are so many nerve endings in the beak that she may not want to eat due to the pain. I would strongly urge getting her to the vet for pain management and possibly antibiotics; that will give her the best chance at recovery.

There aren’t many vets in my area but I’ll try and see what I can do. Can I ask what I could do in the meantime? She hasn’t been eating much or at all. Just tiny sips of water. I’m worried she’s gonna starve If she doesn’t eat anything.

How are you giving the formula to her? Spoon, syringe, etc?

I tried with a spoon first since I’ve given budgies oral medication before and know that they have smaller beaks. She would turn her head and fuss so I tried a smaller syringe and it was a bit successful than the spoon. She still refuses with both and ate in small portions when I tried to feed her a few hours ago.
