should start from the beginning. I found a baby pigeon in the parking garage where I work. He couldn't walk so I thought he got hurt when he fell out of his nest. I took him home he was probably about 2 and 1/2 weeks old maybe 3 weeks. He didn't have all of his feathers. I fed him froozen corn and peas warmed up and baby oatmeal cereal. Now he eats seeds and has been eating on his own. I did research and found that he had a disease that pigeons sometime get. So I bought meds and gave them to him. It was a long road but eventually he was standing on his own and even taking a few steps before he would loose his balance and fall over. I thought I needed to get him foods that were better for him so I got canary and safflower seeds, and being new to ever having birds, I was told that avocados were good for them. So I gave him half an avocado to eat on. He ate a little of it and then stopped eating it, i threw it out. A few days later he could not walk. He still cant walk or stand on his own he eats and drinks but I have to hold him so he can eat. He lays on his back all the time. I thought that maybe the sickness was coming back so I gave him more meds. He is more active and trys to get up but he can't. I hold him and he flaps his wings like he's flying. He eats good and drinks but I have to give it to him and hold him. He still can't stand or walk but he trys to walk when i hold him and let his feet touch the floor. I am so worried that I have done this to him by giving him the avocado and poisoning him. Please help me if you know anything I can do for him. I have had Murphy for 11 months. He is so loving and gives me some coooing noises when he is happy and sees me. I just want him to be able to lead a normal happy, healthy pigeon life. He is so full of energy but can't walk, stand or fly. Please help!!

Sorry about the bird, but I know nothing about pigeons. This is an issue for a vet anyway.
