My 2 week old budgie chick is going cold, he has stopped opening his eyes, and isn't doing much movement. Also his crop isn't emptying like usual, so I'm unable to give him his feeding. He seems sick and cold, PLEASE HELP!!
Warm him up, it is very important. Get someone to cup him in their hands while you set up the brooder correctly with a heat pad. Sometimes a hot water bottle will do if nothing else. First, get him warm in your cupped hands.
There are many ways of doing it. But This is how mine is and it is my 2nd version of a home made Brooder and I like it much better than my 1st Items needed Fish Tank( I use a 10 gallon) Lid with wire mesh over top Heating Pad Thermometer Blankets/Towels Newspapers Paper towels Steps to take...
I couldn't make a new brooder with the given supplies in urgent so I modified the one in which he was and placed heat pads in it. But he hasn't pooped since 5 hours and now I'm really scared
Please guide!
