Since you're not in Australia the bird is not native & is a lost pet. Sadly someone is missing him.
I have seen someone in the USA that has been looking for there stolen galah for over 2 years.
They continually put an ad out with a reward hoping somehow there bird will be returned.
I'm not trying to say that your galah is the stolen galah only trying to put the point across
on how heartbreaking it is to lose a bird. If you lost your bird you would hope that the person who found him
would do his best to try to return it.
I don't know how common brass rings are in Dubai but they are not widely used in US. You might keep this info
confidential in case someone claims to own the bird you can use this to confirm the owner by asking them to describe the band.
